Who I am: Outside of Photo Jam, I make photography a part of daily life. Whether walking around my city with the dog, attending events, or doing more specific personal projects. I also have been delving into analog formats, and recently began offering slide collection digitization and print services.
In my camera bag: Depends on the day! Most often for digital a Sony a7CR with a small 35mm prime lens. On film my go-to is a Leica M4 or a Contax RTS

This image represents the first time I went "on assignment" to document the life and work of a family living on a ranch. I am drawn to the storytelling nature of the interaction.

This image may not be a favorite, but I think it showcases my desire for a multidimensional balance between realism, pathos, documentary, impact, and subjectivity.

On Photo Jam: I've mostly been involved since the Abstract Concepts segment. This has stretched me to be more specific in directing my eye to look for form ahead of story. Photo Jam allows for time and space to discuss the aesthetic and technical details that bring images to life.
