INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Grab a friend or two or ten and your cameras of choice.

2. Choose a time and place to meet.

3. Go for a walk, wherever you want to explore.

4. Look for shots on the theme of SPACE, or whatever gets your attention.

5. Post something to the gallery. (Free to join). We’ll send you a free Jam.

6. Join the Jam.

Get a little exercise for your body and brain. Have fun, y’all!

GRAVEYARD JAM

This October, we’re walking through cemeteries with cameras in hand. Notice the light, the stone, the texture. Share your frames with us at the Graveyard Jam on Nov 2, Day of the Dead. Choose a favorite cemetery. Grab a couple friends. Bring cameras. Walk. Join us on November 2 at 1pm ET to share your ghost stories.

• DINNER + DISCUSSION – A chance to connect and talk shop. We will meet up at the fabulous Southern Market and grab a big table. (Dinner is not included in price. Feel free to brown bag it.)

• JAM – See what you created, talk about what worked, be seen and get inspired.

Master Jam Series

Master Jams is a new series where we borrow a little wisdom from the legends. Each session, we’ll pick one master photographer, study a few of their shots, and jam on what made them hit so hard — the composition, the mood, the story, the weird magic you can’t explain but can definitely feel. We’ll discuss what we see, what we feel, and what we like. You know, we’ll jam about it. We will meet on the last Sunday of the month at 1pm ET.

• LIGHTING WORKSHOP – Learn Rembrandt, Butterfly, Side & Rim lighting—how they work and when to use them.

• HANDS-ON PRACTICE – Work with models, test the setups, and an option to shoot tethered for instant feedback.
